"I wasn't aware that I could make a review on taxicode until now, but I feel that this review is very necessary.
I have used taxicode several times, and this complaint is not so much about the service, but the driver that was assigned to me on this specific trip. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. Firstly, he arrived 25 minutes before the scheduled time, which I would typically have no complaint about but when he called me informing me of his arrival and I relayed to him that I was not yet at the pick up point as I did not think he would come so much earlier in advance. He then told me to hurry up and I tried to get back as soon as possible. I then went downstairs to the car 5 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and he was not around and upon calling him to ask where he was, he claimed to be at the right address. I then walked around the building I was meant to be picked up from to find him at a different building within the same area, and when I called him to tell him it was me approaching him with 3 big suitcases, he told me to walk faster as he remained in the car. When I got to the car, he opened the boot from inside the vehicle and I had to load my suitcases on my own, which I would typically not complain about but he was very impatient, telling me to load them faster without even bothering to step out of the car. When I got in the car I apologised for keeping him waiting but did mention that the pickup time I had requested was later than the time he arrived at, and he said that he was early so I shouldn't complain and should have been there faster. The ride was rather smooth, but upon arrival, before he let me out of the car, he asked for his payment and I was happy to oblige. However, he kept the doors lock and kept demanding for extra since I made him wait. As all the cash I had on me was for the payment of the ride, I did not have any extra money and was not able to pay him extra nor was I willing to. He claimed that I needed to pay him an EXTRA 60 pounds because claimed it was company policy, and when I looked it up it was definitely not the case AND I technically adhered to the pre-decided pickup time. I explained this to him and asked him to let me out of the car, and he did not want to unlock the doors. I then told him I had no more money anyway and showed him my wallet, and he then unlocked the car. After I was done taking my luggage out of the boot on my own, he then slammed the boot shut and told me to never take the service ever again and cursed at me under his breath. I initially wanted to call or write to complain but I forgot about the incident as I had a flight to get to, which is why I am only giving this feedback now. It did occur a while ago, but I feel that I should relay this event just in case other people may have had similar issues with this driver."
